Brand – A
brand is not a person, company, product or service. A brand
is a promise communicated to the consumer by a distinctive word,
phrase, sign, package or label. A brand is all the thoughts,
feelings, associations and expectations that the consumer experiences
when exposed to a company’s name, trademarks, products,
designs and symbols.
Brand Identity – Visual and verbal elements are
often combined to give the brand a unique and memorable look. Properly
executed, the brand’s logo or phrase becomes an instant
communicator of the brand’s value.
Brand Management – The ongoing process of brand
management involves integration and alignment of all business
functions so that they support the vision and mission of the brand.
Brand Marketing – The process of communicating
the brand’s promise of value to a targeted audience is called
brand marketing.
